This space will include operator partners and subcontractors in the sectors of transformation and deformation of metals and material removal without chip (manufacturing / mechanical engineering, mechanical welding / metal construction, smelting of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, steel industry, processing and surface coatings...).

Exhibiting companies dealing with electrical and electronic sectors (electrical assemblies and components: connectors, cables, Electrical Equipment and Component connection, cutting and setting, lighting material , electric motors, components and electronic assemblies, subassemblies and electronic assemblies, test equipment, test and measurement, ...), who will present their innovations and expertise in their sectors  of competence both individually and in a pool of skills.

Plastics engineering, rubber and packaging:

Processors, suppliers and contractors working in the areas of plastics processing and rubber mark their presence through their products, expertise and innovation in their respective fields.

Open platform for relationships with professionals from different countries, this space represents a place of cooperation and information about operators and sector trends.

The packaging returns to boost the professional environment in the same space by providing packaging to other sectors other than industry, including conditioning and logistics.

Areas of creativity and innovation, operators in these sectors are presented at the exhibition "Tunis-MedIndustrie" which constitute a community of professionals who come together for strategic cooperation and common     development.

Renewable Energy:

Tunisia has accelerated since the early 2000s its action on energy efficiency. The country is now looking to diversify its mix energy.

Honorable achievements in energetic efficiency are made after  the promulgation in 2004 of the law on the control of energy 6  and the creation in 2005 of a National Fund for Energy Conservation (FNME) 7, a first action program three-year (2005-2007) saved 800kTep.

 

A second four-year program of energy conservation (2008-2011) followed with a savings target of more than 2 Mote.

The sector of ​​automotive electrical components:


The branch of automotive electrical components had a very strong growth since 2000 and a preponderance of exporting companies . Employment in wires, cables and wiring harnesses has doubled and in electrical components and especially electronic has been multiplied by 5.5.


Many world leaders have settled or strengthened their position making Tunisia a stronghold wiring harnesses due to the proximity of Europe, logistics and the availability of qualified human resources and a competitive cost.

The Investments to upgrade, certification and training have strengthened the legitimacy of the Tunisian sector in an international environment with a number of folders, tangible and intangible investments above the average of Tunisian industry.

The industry is mainly concentrated in the coastal area between Sousse and Bizerte.

These announced investments should balance slightly the distribution inward.
